Hey beautiful biz babe! Check it out, between the time a prospect books a consultation and the day of the actual consultation, there’s SO much you can do to nurture them and increase the chances of them hiring you.

Here are five HoneyBook automations you can set up to WOW your prospects and warm them up before the consultation

Day 0

As soon as they sign up for a consultation they should *immediately* get your ”Services and Pricing Guide” in PDF form via email.

Day 1

Via email, they should get a link to the FAQ page of your website. This one is SO important! This is where you can preemptively address any objections and hesitations they may have. (Ex. “I’m going have an epidural/cesarean, can a doula still help me?” “My partner will be present with me, should I still have a Doula?”) think about the hesitations and objections people usually have during the consultation and go ahead and address them up front, in advance of the consult. This will save you so much time and energy and erase road blocks and barriers to them investing.

Day 2

The link to your best free longform content (blog, podcast YouTube channel, etc). This is the content that demonstrates your expertise and positions you as an expert in your field. Now you’re building trust, expertise and authority.

Day 3

A link to your best freebie opt-in (workbook, video training, checklist, etc). A tangible tool, or some thing that they can take action on and get immediate results from.

Day 4

The link to the reviews and testimonials section of your website.

Closing Notes

Ideally, every inch of this is completely automated and rolls out on its own via a CRM, such as HoneyBook, or your email service provider, such as Flodesk.

The entire idea is to get them pre-excited and pre-enrolled. 😎🥂 Big fat take-away: Most of consultation success depends on what happens before the consultation even takes place.

You want them to show up to the consultation hot and ready to buy … and already 99.9% sure (or 100% sure!) that you’re The One!
